LSP P1 (Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi P1) merupakan lembaga yang bertanggung jawab dalam melakukan sertifikasi kompetensi di bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, termasuk pada Jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) tingkat Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Pada tahun ini untuk jurusan TKJ di ikuti oleh lima sekolah yaitu :
- SMK Negeri 1 Sambas
- SMK Negeri 1 Subah
- SMK Negeri 1 Tekarang
- SMK Negeri 1 Sejangkung
- SMK Swasta Hosana Tebas
Sertifikasi kompetensi yang diberikan oleh LSP P1 bertujuan untuk memastikan bahwa individu yang bersertifikasi memiliki keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang memadai dalam bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, sehingga mampu bersaing di dunia kerja dan memberikan kontribusi yang positif bagi perusahaan atau organisasi tempat mereka bekerja, Sertifikasi ini difasilitasi oleh SMK Negeri 1 Sambas untuk tempat dan peralatan.
Dalam Jurusan TKJ di SMK, LSP P1 memberikan sertifikasi kompetensi bagi siswa yang telah menyelesaikan pendidikan formal dan telah memiliki pengalaman kerja di bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Beberapa kompetensi yang dinilai meliputi pemrograman, jaringan komputer, sistem operasi, keamanan informasi, dan manajemen proyek TI.
Dengan adanya sertifikasi kompetensi dari LSP P1, siswa SMK Jurusan TKJ akan memiliki keunggulan kompetitif di pasar kerja, karena sertifikasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa mereka memiliki keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang dapat diandalkan dalam bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Selain itu, sertifikasi juga memberikan kepercayaan dan kepastian bagi perusahaan atau organisasi yang mempekerjakan mereka.
